Our Mission Statement As a provider of medical services in the City and County of San Francisco since 1857, our mission is to respond to and meet the health care needs of our community and to promote a healthier community through education. Our goal is to deliver high quality health care using the principles of continuous quality improvement, providing education and research opportunities for the delivery of unique specialty healthcare services. The Center is committed to: maintaining fiscal strength, maintaining and expanding the physical plant to meet the expanding service needs of the community; and recruiting, educating and developing a staff composed of highly qualified technical and professional personnel who treat the members of our community with compassion and respect.
