    The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases provide both technical and nontechnical information on a variety of illnesses and disorders on allergies and infectious diseases.

    Avon's Breast Cancer Awareness Crusade
    Avon's Breast Cancer Awareness Crusade provides facts, links and phone numbers to various breast cancer resources with this "awareness crusade" site. Visitors can take Avon's "Pledge for Better Breast Health" here, and read transcripts of Awareness Online conferences.

    Cancer Research
    Cancer research information for medical professionals and patients is available at the web site of the National Cancer Institute (NCI).Browse the current news, databases, clinical trial info and drug summaries or link to the NCI home page. Available in English and Spanish.

    Center for Disease Control (CDC)
    The Centers for Disease Control (CDC)’s web site includes general information and current news about the CDC, discussions of diseases, health risks and injuries, a database of CDC reports, guidelines and public health data. Visitors can also link to any of the 11 CDC internal centers such as Environmental Health, Infectious Diseases, and the National Immunization Program.

    Child Safety Forum
    The Child Safety Forum provide a resource with articles and tips to educate parents on the hidden dangers that exist in all households.

    Consumer Health Information
    Consumer Health Information at Inter-Links is provided as a public service to help navigate the Internet and find useful resources quickly and efficiently. It was created and is maintained by Rob Kabacoff Ph.D., from the Center for Psychological Studies at Nova Southeastern University, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

    Cyberspace Hospital
    Cyberspace Hospital at the National University of Singapore maintain a site for patient eductional resources with many links to health educational resources throughout the world.

    Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease (NIDDK)
    The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health maintains this educational site on information about diabetes and about digestive, endocrine, kidney, nutrition and urologic disorders. Research and professional information, as well as diverse patient resources, are also featured.

    Health Update is created by MultiPlan to help patients better understand their illnesses and treatments.

    Healthguide OnLine
    Healthguide OnLine is the Internet site for Clinical Tools, Inc. with a mission to provide quality health education to the general public.

    KidsHealth
    KidsHealth of the Nemours Foundation Center for Biomedical Communication is the Web site about kid's health information with useful health resources for children and parents.. It's an exciting, safe place for kids to find out more about their bodies and feelings.

    Neuromuscular Disease
    Neuromuscular disease information at The American Academy of Neurology’s site links to information about case studies, treatments, diagnoses and references.

    Toxic Substances and Disease Registry
    The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provides ATSDR news, links to related agencies and departments, and a database of information on hazardous substances and their health effects.

    Travel Information Page
    CDC’s Travel Information Page contains reference material for International Travel including vaccine requirements, food and water precautions, geographic health recommendations, drugs used for treatment and prevention of malaria, and other disease and vaccine information.

    All About Health is a comprehensive, constantly updated, health news magazine that is devoted to reporting on the latest developments in health and medicine. It features breaking news, consumer alerts, new products, books and software, and articles on a variety of health topics.

    Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion
    The web site of the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion have many useful nutrition, dietary and food data online including the 1995 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the Food Guide Pyramid.

    American Podiatric Medical Association
    Foot Health Information maintained by the American Podiatric Medical Association has good information about the foot and foot disorders.

    Healthtouch
    Healthtouch online is a resource that bring information from various health organizations. Here one can find information on medications, health organizations, wellness and illnesses.

    Internet Health Resources Home Page
    With the goal of helping individuals take more personal responsibility for their health care and wellness, this site features pointers to online health information, arranged in alphabetical order by topic. Featured topics range from allergies and attention deficit disorder to vegetarian recipes and women's health. The site also includes lists of state and national healthcare organizations, relevant publications and more.

    The National Health Information Center (NHIC) is a health information referral service with a focus on providing links to organizations and government offices that provide health information upon request.
